Hosted by the City of Newport & Newport Parks and Recreation

The Newport Youth Basketball Program is open to all residents of Newport and Cocke County. As the official booster league for the Newport Grammar School Warriors, this program focuses on skill development, sportsmanship, and life lessons—all within a fun and competitive environment. Teams will compete in a league with other elementary booster programs at the Cocke County Rec Center.

• Registration Opens: Early September

• Ages: 4–12 years old

• Fee: $50.00
  (Includes insurance, uniform, and game fees)

• Evaluations: Early November at Newport Community Center

• Practice Location: Newport Community Center

• Game Locations:

  • Home: Newport Community Center

  • Away: Local Cocke County elementary schools or Cocke County Rec Department (some Fridays/Saturdays)
