The Newport Parks and Recreation Department is led by Newport native Timothy L. Dockery, who serves as the department’s Director. He is responsible for the leadership, management, and strategic direction of the Parks and Recreation Department. This role oversees the planning, development, and maintenance of parks, recreational programs, community events, and public spaces to enhance the quality of life for Newport residents and visitors.

Molly Ealy serves as the Administrative Assistant. She is responsible for managing financial and budgetary records, overseeing payroll, and handling a wide range of essential daily administrative functions.

Jeff Eslinger holds the position of Maintenance Superintendent. He oversees the supervision and upkeep of all parks and recreation facilities within the city.

Francisco Garcia is the Athletic Coordinator, responsible for organizing, facilitating, and supervising all athletic programs and events conducted throughout Newport.

Melissa Cassady serves as the Operations Manager. She is responsible for overseeing business operations for both the Newport Parks and Recreation Department and the Newport Community Center, including scheduling facility reservations and coordinating various programs.
