It’s my one year anniversary with my adopted family and I thought it would be nice to give you an update on my new life. First, I love my family and I adore my Dad and follow him everywhere. Of course, I’m sure he loves me too, after all, he had my portrait tattooed on his arm! Not only that, he takes me for several walks every day; he plays with me in the evenings, and takes me to the off-leash park every weekend. As for my Mom, I love to snuggle with her every morning; she secretly lets me up in the bed so we can have our cuddle time. She is also a push-over when I give her my sad/depressed look in order to get a treat! When I first met her, I did not understand that she was having a hard time just having been through back surgery, but I just stayed with her and realized that is all she needed. Then, there is my cat-brother Jake, he’s ok. Sometimes he’ll play with me, but most of the time I just like to push him around so he remembers who’s the boss. I think I have a pretty good life now, and my parents tell me I become a better dog every day. Besides the obedience classes I’ve had, I get to go to Doggy Day Care once a week. It’s a blast, I get to play and socialize with all kinds of other dogs. I still don’t care to get in the car, but it’s not so bad now that I know it takes me to fun places like doggy day care, the off leash park, or camping and hiking with my parents. Well, it’s been a great year and I look forward to many more with my adopted family and I have you all to thank for it! If it wasn’t for your kindness and compassion in helping homeless dogs like me, I never would have found the perfect home I have now. Please keep in touch, I miss you too! Thank You!
