Newport/Cocke County Rapids Swim Team
The Newport/Cocke County Rapids Swim Team practices at the Newport Community Center from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. The team is made up of student-athletes from Cocke County High School and Cosby High School. In addition to regular practices, swim meets are hosted at the Newport Community Center’s Indoor Pool, making it the official home of the Rapids.

The Newport/Cocke County Rapids is a traveling swim team made up of student-athletes from across the Newport and Cocke County area. The team is proud to call the Newport Community Center its home base for both practices and home swim meets.
