Request for Bids City of Newport - Historic Tanner Center Sanitary Sewer Replacement The City of Newport will be accepting sealed bids from qualified commercial plumbers to replace sections of the existing sanitary sewer pipe at the Historic Tanner Center located at 115 Mulberry Street, Newport, TN 37821. Sealed bids with envelopes clearly marked, Sanitary Sewer Replacement, will be accepted at the office of the City of Newport Finance Director at thefollowing address no later than 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2025. Bids will be opened directly after the deadline. Bids received after the prescribed time and date will not be considered. Request for Bids City of Newport - Historic Tanner Center Interior Paint/Cove Base and Wall Rails The City of Newport will be accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors to paint approximately 11,000 square ft. of interior space, remove old base, install new base, wall rails in classrooms and touch-up drywall where damaged. Project is at the Historic Tanner Center located at 115 Mulberry Street, Newport, TN 37821. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the following instructions. Request for Bids City of Newport - Historic Tanner Center Outdoor Storage The City of Newport will be accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors to build outdoor storage units at the Historic Tanner Center located at 115 Mulberry Street, Newport, TN 37821. One structure, divided into four units. Structure to be built up off ground (one step into unit) due to slope of existing concrete. Structure to be attached to existing wall by (2) two 2x8 p.t bands, one at floor location and roof location to be bolted to existing building to allow convenient removal by others later to minimize damage to existing cmu wall. (See detailed specifications on page 2) All bids must be submitted in accordance with the following instructions.
