Mission Statement

The City of Newport is committed to excellence in providing in diversity of leisure services to the community. This includes providing adequate facilities to address recreational needs, providing maintenance of facilities to ensure safety and extend period of use, and provide recreational programs to enable the participation of all regardless of age, sex, color, or creed. This commitment to excellence must be obvious in the area of facilities availability and recreation services.
